Khasay Mirzoyev

Born in 1955, lives and works in Baku. He graduated from the Azerbaijan State Art College named after Azim Azimzade in 1974, where he received the profession of graphic artist. Then in 1989 he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Azerbaijan Civil Engineering Institute.
Works in different techniques, but prefers watercolor. Member of the Union of Artists of the Azerbaijan Republic, Creative Union of Professional Artists (Moscow), International Watercolor Society.

Chairman of the Azerbaijan branch of the International Watercolor Society (IWS Azerbaijan).

 From 1976-1999, he collaborated with Republican book publishers, designing and illustrating fiction, children’s, non-fiction, textbooks and magazines. The main artist of the company "Azermarka" from 1999-2018, the author of all postage stamps and other philatelic products of the Azerbaijan Republic of this period.
In 1990-1999 he participated in national exhibitions of book graphics and bookplates (bookplates).
In 2011 he joined the International Watercolor Society (IWS Globe).
In 2012, his works were exhibited at the 1st International Festival of the Watercolor Society in Izmir / Seferihisar / Sigajik, Turkey.
In an online competition organized by IWS in 2013, his work took 4th place following the results of public voting and was put up in Istanbul.
In 2014, participated in the Biennale of the International Watercolor Society and an exhibition in Cappadocia, Turkey.
In 2015, his works were exhibited at the 1st International Watercolor Society Festival in Tirana, Albania.
In 2016, his works were exhibited:

Baku "Khatai Art Center" (Azerbaijan, Baku),

1st International Watercolor Biennale and Exhibition in Karachi, Jamsoro (Pakistan)

1st International Watercolor Festival and Exhibition in Kiev (Ukraine),

1st International Watercolor Exhibition in Budapest (Hungary).

In 2017, his work was exhibited at the International Watercolor Festival in Gaziantep (Turkey), as well as in Bratislava and other cities in Slovakia.

In February 2018, participation in the exhibition of the 2nd International Watercolor Biennale in Karachi and Hyderabad (Pakistan).

On September 14-22, 2019, at the invitation of the artist, Didier Brot participated in the Bourboninacquarello residence organized by him with watercolor artists from Russia, Italy, China, Moldova in the canton of Bourbon-l’Archambault, France.
